Sacom-Chip Sang Co. Ltd. (SCS) on Wednesday inaugurated the SCS Internet Building at Saigon High Tech Park in HCMCs District 9 after one year of construction.
The project owner has spent VND225 billion transforming a 5,700-square-meter land site into a nine-story office building, supplying some 16,000 square meters of office space to the hi-tech park.
SCS is a 70:30 joint venture between Sacom Investment and Development Corporation and Chip Sang Co. Ltd. The former specializes in cable production and real estate investment and trading, while the latter is active in information technology, electronics and green technology.
The project owner expects the building will be a workplace for experts in information and communication technology as well as high technology, aiming to provide more utility services to the hi-tech park.
According to CB Richard Ellis Vietnam (CBRE), operator of the building, the office space is offered for lease at VND336,000 (or US$16) per square meter, plus management fees worth VND105,000 (US$5) each square meter.
CBRE informed two U.S firms namely Rockwell Automation and Micro Precision Calibration had registered to open offices in the building.
